A Mega Free Health Camp was successfully organized in Devarapalli, encouraging rural residents to make the best use of such valuable healthcare services. The camp was conducted under the aegis of the Pragati Association for Rural Development, in memory of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, with the support of Eluru Ashram Hospital.
The camp was inaugurated by Devarapalli Tahsildar M. Srinivas, who appreciated the efforts of voluntary organizations in organizing free medical camps for the benefit of rural communities. He emphasized the importance of utilizing these opportunities to improve public health.
The health camp took place at the premises of Sri Kadiyalamma Ammavari Temple on Tuesday, where many villagers participated. A total of 250 people were examined during the camp. Based on medical evaluations: 13 patients were referred for eye treatment, 4 patients were referred for ear surgeries, and 5 patients were referred for cardiology consultations.
Doctors conducted screenings for various health conditions and provided free medicines to those in need. They also assured us that necessary surgeries would be arranged for eligible patients.

PARD India President Ambati Srinivasa Rao, Treasurer Devaraj Achyutharao, Joint Treasurer Somisetti Venkata Rao, Former President of Manavatha Organization Balusu Satyanarayana, Former Sarpanch Katru Bhimaraju, Community leaders Kairam Apparao, Oruganti Lakshmipathi Raju, Balusu Vijayalakshmi, Eduri David, Cheemakurthi Krishnaprasad, along with the dedicated medical team from Eluru Ashram Hospital.
The initiative highlighted the crucial role of collaborative efforts between voluntary organizations and healthcare institutions in improving access to medical services in rural areas.
