In a step toward improving educational outcomes in rural communities, PARD INDIA, in collaboration with IRCON International Ltd., has relaunched the After School Education Program (ASEP) in Pallantla village under Devarapalli Mandal.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by School Teacher K. Padma and members of PARD INDIA. Speaking on the occasion, Padma Garu expressed her appreciation, stating, “This initiative functions like a tuition program within the school premises. A dedicated teacher helps students with their daily lessons, homework, English, multiplication tables, and more. It's not just playtime; this program makes learning more engaging and cultivates focus and curiosity in students.”
Following the session, students were provided with notebooks, pens, and nutritious snacks, as a gesture to encourage their learning journey.
Key contributors to the event included PARD INDIA representatives Somishetti Venkatarao Garu, REED Teacher Nuthalapati Mounika Garu, and Galinki Hem Kumar Garu. The event saw enthusiastic participation from schoolchildren and community members, marking another milestone in PARD INDIA’s mission to bridge educational gaps in rural India.
The main objectives of the “After School Education Program” address the needs of the children for their overall development and empowerment through the power of education. This intervention will play a decisive role in achieving the following SDGs of 2030 at the grassroots:
