A free eye check-up camp was successfully conducted at Pothavaram with the support of medical teams from Tadepalligudem and Nidadavolu, using advanced diagnostic equipment. More than 100 individuals underwent comprehensive eye examinations during the event.
Following the screenings, 10 patients identified for cataract and other vision-related surgeries were transported by bus to Nidadavolu Eye Hospital for free eye operations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ambati Srinivasa Rao emphasized,
"Such health camps should be organized regularly as part of our social responsibility. Our goal is to make quality healthcare accessible to rural communities."
The program was attended by Mr. Mohammad Ilyas Shareef (President, PARD India Nallajerla Branch), Mr. Cheemakurthi Krishna Prasad (Honorary President), Lions Club members including Dr. Badri Veera Shekhar Rao, Mr. Papa Nageswara Rao (MPTC), Mr. Somisetti Venkata Rao (Government Health Officer), and several other dignitaries.
The initiative highlighted the importance of rural healthcare outreach and reaffirmed the commitment of PARD India and supporting organizations towards community well-being.
