The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervor at the Sri Arya Vysya Kalyana Mandapam in Dubhacherla village, under the auspices of PARD India, a voluntary service organization dedicated to community development. The event was presided over by Ambati Srinivasa Rao, National President of PARD INDIA.
Distinguished guests including Simhadri Rao, Mandal Development Officer of Nallajerla, and CH. Alekhya, Village Secretary of Dubhacherla, graced the event as chief guests. Their presence added significance to the celebration and inspired many to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
In his address, MDO Simhadri Rao emphasized the importance of introducing yoga from an early age, encouraging people to make it an integral part of their daily lives, much like a good habit. Secretary Alekhya echoed the sentiment, urging everyone to embrace yoga as a pathway to physical and mental well-being.
Renowned yoga instructors Jahnavi and Jhansi led participants through a variety of yoga postures and breathing techniques, explaining the holistic benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual development. Their session drew active participation from students, villagers, and youth alike.
Students of Sanghamitra School, along with PARD India Honorary President Cheemakurthi Krishna Prasad, Somashetti Venkata Rao, Vasavi Jagruthi President Gade Prashanti, and Treasurer Idapalapati Geetha, actively participated in the event. Many locals and school students contributed to making the event a grand success.
